Aliens: Colonial Marines...a one week wonder and a single-day chart topper that has not only fallen from grace, but has become a stapled tarnish in the once good names of Sega and Gearbox Software. A week after Aliens launched Crysis 3 hit retail shelves and unfortunately it was overshadowed by the Xeno-Gate conspiracy. Well, EA sent out a new trailer to remind gamers which FPS you should have bought instead.

The review scores for Crysis 3 have generally been positive, with many pointing out that the game manages to keep a fun-pace despite being known for only having a “pretty face”. EA tries to capitalize on the “more than just graphics” approbation by showcasing a trailer that contains a bit of a story, some striking visuals and a whole lot of bow-wielding, nano-suit wearing, explosive action.

I've never been much for Crysis because it seemed more visual panache over gameplay splash, but hopefully that's all been rectified by Crytek for the third and presumably final act in the Prophet arc.

If the trailer above got you teetering on the edge of volition, wondering as to whether or not the game is worth the $60 plunge, be sure to find out if the game truly suits your tastes by visiting the Official Website and learning more about Crysis 3. For everyone else who throws caution to the wind, you can pick up a copy at your local retailer for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
