A new promo trailer has been released for Crysis 3 sporting a destructive look at the game's multiplayer, a brief overview of the 12 catastrophic maps and it offers gamers a small taste of the new modes to help keep gamers entertained and embracing the fun-filled antics of competitive multiplayer deathmatch.
Crytek and EA are really hoping to hit a home-run this time with Crysis 3, as the second game was labeled by gamers as one of the most boring, generic shooters ever released. Yeah, it was sort of pretty on PC, decked out with DirectX 11 patches and maxed out in resolution, but it failed to deliver the boom, and Crytek is aiming to rectify that problem by delivering the 'boom' in spades. Check it out in the trailer below.
Crysis 3 is scheduled to release this month for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The shooting mechanics have been refined, the story has been given an explosive makeover, the multiplayer has had a ton of stuff added – although I do question what was sacrificed to accommodate for the troglodyte RAM specs in the current-gen consoles – and the graphics have been improved about as much as Crytek could improve them for this long-lasting generation of gaming.
If you're keen on finding out how the story ends for Prophet be sure to pick up a copy of the game when it releases for your platform of choice. For more information feel free to visit the Official Website.
