The upcoming FPS from Bethesda and Arcade Studios has been in the spotlight for quite some time, especially after the impressive showing at E3. Bethesda has been slowly and steadily releasing new media assets and content for the game leading up to its October release.

The latest trailer for Dishonored is a showcase of three different ways to escape from a scenario using three completely unrelated methods, giving gamers an idea of how to make prime use of a master assassin's top-of-the-line arsenal. Check it out.

I think I was most impressed with the second escape, Sleep Tight, mainly because it utilized a bit of that supernatural flair and followed it up with some technically savvy sharpshooting. The long jump was pretty obvious and the protagonist seemed to take the most damage that way, and the possession thing is something I still don't fully get but I can see how a lot of gamers would probably want to mess around with it quite a bit.

The trailer is more-so a showcase of what the developers have been spouting off in the interviews ever since the game was announced: the game plays out based on the choices you make. Choice is a pretty big factor in Dishonored and this seemingly simple gameplay trailer makes it very well known that every segment can be altered in a vastly different way simply based on the way you choose to play. It's like all those cool concepts from games like Omikron, Deus Ex and Perfect Dark are finally starting to play a role in today's generation of gaming. It only took a decade!

You can look for Dishonored to launch this October 9th for consoles and PC. You can pre-order the game right now or learn more by paying a visit to the Official Website.
