Playground Games will be releasing a Rally expansion for Forza Horizon on December 18th. As you can guess from the title, the expansion focuses on rally racing.
The DLC provides point-to-point races set throughout Colorado. The treacherous courses are full of steep drops, rocks, trees and other hazards. Separate online playlists will be offered for veterans and beginners so you can get used to this new racing experience. New rally upgrades can be applied to any vehicle in the game to make them suitable for these events.
Players can also look forward to five new vehicles. The 1992 Celica, the 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR, the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth, and 1982 Lancia 037 Stradale are all suitable for off-road journeys. Season Pass owners will also receive the 2003 Ford Focus SVT.
Playground plans to support the expansion with new content. They'll release new rally-themed Rivals events on a monthly basis.
The Rally expansion will cost $20 to download. If you own the $50 Season Pass, though, you'll be able to download it for no additional charge.
