Good things come to those who wait. Come August 28, that saying will ring true for people who decided to hold out on playing some of the PlayStation's biggest titles. That's the date you'll finally be able to get your hands on the newly established PS3 Collection series, including one for Ratchet and Clank, inFamous and the God of War Sage.

The PlayStation Collection series is similar to the HD collections that have become so popular in the past couple of years. But instead of just featuring remakes of PS2 classics, these Collections will also be home to some of the biggest names to grace the PS3.

The first Collection you'll be able to pick up later this month is Ratchet and Clank, which features HD-ified copies of the original R&C, Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal. They'll all have tropys support, as well as online play for Arsenal.

Next up is the God of War Saga, which features all three of the console games, as well as the two titles for the PlayStation Portable. The disc will also include some exclusive bonus content, a voucher for one free month of PlayStation Plus, trophy support, etc. That's five full God of War games, in case you lost count.

Finally, there is the inFamous Collection, which features both of the main games, as well as the vampire-infused Festival of Blood. You'll also have access to extra missions in this Collection, additional costumes, power ups, weapon styles and more.

The best part, though, is the price. Each Collection will be available for $29.99. They'll be available in disc format, as well as a bundled download on PlayStation Network. If you're only in the market for one or two of the titles, however, you'll still be able to download these games individually off of PSN as well.
