Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios revealed today the latest addition to the roster of Injustice: Gods Among Us, it's none other than Doomsday. The character is showcased with a dominating trailer and it's such a shame that he wasn't included in the weekly tournament that NetherRealm has been running because I would have loved to have seen him take on Superman.

The game is definitely shaping up to be a really cool fighting title and that special move from Doomsday was a real blockbuster moment.

Injustice features a full layout of both heroes and villains, ranging from characters like Bane and Bane, Superman and Lex Luthor, the Flash and Shazam, Wonder Woman and Solomon Grundy, and of course Joker and Harlequin.

The game will be arriving next month for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and while NetherRealm has gone the 'T' for Teen route the way they did with DC Universe vs Mortal Kombat, this game certainly looks a heck of a lot better. Especially considering that the poor crossover title seemed more like a recycling of assets from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and seemed more like an HD version of a PS2 or Xbox title as opposed to something for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
