Qoocsoft and 7Sixty's latest game is a new-school beat e'm up that uses an old-school mechanic. Players control a kickbutt martial artists who goes around beating the crap out of bad guys and using some flashy moves to get the job done.

The game is easy to learn but hard to master and it's entirely possible that the game could be a neat little addition to EVO's line-up mainly due to its complex counter system and uber-cool super-cancels to keep fights both fresh and dynamically challenging.

You can check out some of the video footage of the game's more advanced techniques in the media blowout below.

In addition to a single-player that sees the player taking on various kinds of enemies and baddies in unique and varied settings, there's also a versus mode that can also be quite difficult depending on who you're going up against. But if you're more-so looking for a cool throwback to co-op beat e'm ups like Streets of Rage and Final Fight then you'll probably enjoy the game's co-op mode.

You can pick up Kung Fu Strike right now on digital distributors for 20% as of the publishing of this article so it's practically available for a steal. You can learn more by paying a visit to the game's Official Website.
