Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime Is Finally Heading To The PS4

If you’ve always wanted a true co-op game on the PS4 to play with your boyfriend or girlfriend, Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime is the perfect title. And it finally just announced a release date for PS4, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime will be launching on February 9.

The game was first released on PC and Xbox One last year in September, and it immediately took the indie game scene by storm. IGN even gave it an 8.5 out of 10 for its review. So it’s only fair many have been waiting to hear if Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime would make it to PS4. Typically, Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime is only limited to local co-op play, but because of Share Play on the PS4, now online play is sort of made possible—and only on the PS4. Talk about exclusivity.

Share Play was a feature that was released with the PS4 2.0 update and it allows two PS4 owners to play a game together over the internet. So it’s like local co-op, only you’re playing over the internet. So of course it works perfectly with Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime. You can check out the newly released PS4 reveal video below.

Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime is the perfect game to play with your significant other because, together, you help control the spaceship, running around moving shields, firing weapons and driving the ship. You have to choose who’s doing what and figure out a strategy to get through the alien worlds to rescue the space-bunnies. And it’s not really that difficult to understand if your lover isn’t the biggest gamer. Your ship, shields and weapons can all be updated into stronger and more unique variations of themselves, some definitely better than others.

As mentioned above, you can pick up your copy of Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime on February 9 in the PlayStation Store.
