NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat on the PS Vita, showcasing all the new mini-games jam packed into the title, as well as showing off how the touch-screen features work and performing finishers.

Given how fast Mortal Kombat plays it would seem like touch-screen features would draw away from the entertainment values and enjoyment of the fighting, but actually it seems to work rather cohesively for things such as clearing blood off the screen, performing finishing moves as well as partaking in some ridiculously clever mini-games. Check it out below.

The game also comes jam packed with all the DLC characters from the console version at no additional charge. The only downside, of course, is that the graphics aren't quite on par to what they were on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but it is a handheld device, so...yeah.

The game is scheduled to release this spring and if you're keen on finding out more about the game as well as how NetherRealm is taking full advantage of the new PS Vita hardware, feel free to visit the Official Website.
