Subscribe To PSN Extended Play Sale Discounts Loads Of Games, DLC And TV Seasons Updates
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the PlayStation Network is hosting a huge sale this week. If you’re looking for up to 60 percent off of games and television shows, or 80 percent if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, then you’ll want to check out what these “Extended Play” discounts have to offer.

So, why is this being called the “Extended Play Sale?” Because a huge focus of the promotion is games bundled with their DLC, or just the DLC bundles themselves. And in case big discounts on games like Battlefield Hardline, Evolve and Alien: Isolation aren’t enough to keep you busy, then you can check out a massive list of marked down television series, too.

For those of you looking to save some money and stock up on games and TV, you’ve got about a week to grab the goods, as the Extended Play Sale runs through next Monday, May 25. It’s a massive list, so you’ll want to head on over to the PlayStation Blog to check out all of your options, but we’ll cherry pick a few nice selections for you here, just to give you an idea.

You know how I just mentioned Alien: Isolation? well, the game and season pass bundle is now going for $45 on the PlayStation 4, or just $36 if you’re a Plus member. If you’ve already got the game but haven’t dipped into the extra content yet, that can be yours for $15 standard or $12 with plus.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and its DLC are up for grabs in the sale, alongside games like FIFA 15, Far Cry 4 and Watch Dogs.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Ultimate Edition is marked down to $49 on PS3, or just $4 with Plus. Need for Speed Most Wanted Ultimate Edition is just $20 on the same console, or as low as $12 with Plus.

Older games are also up for grabs, including Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Gold Edition, the Sound Shapes Ultimate Bundle, as well as one of my top picks, Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut Ultimate Edition for $10 standard and a measley $5 with Plus. That game’s not for everyone, but it’s certainly worth $5 just to see what the heck all of the fuss is about.

As promised, entire seasons of television shows are also being discounted in both standard and HD formats. As far as I can tell, there are no variations between Plus and non-Plus discounts here. Just sales on everything from American Dad and Archer to Bleach, Gotham, The Simpsons and Two and a Half Men.

If you’re worried about how you’ll pass away the long summer hours, there’s something for pretty much everyone in this week’s impressive Extended Play Sale on PlayStation Network.
