The official music video for Snoop Dogg's "Knocc E'm Down" for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has made its way online and you can see the four minute video right here on Gaming Blend. In traditional music video fashion, there are quick-cuts, scantily clad ladies and very little display of the actual product.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 seems to be Namco's attempt at going mainstream for the series. Instead of simply marketing the game as a typical fighter, they've joined in cahoots with the aging, once popular rapper Snoop Dogg. Other than being popular during the gangsta-rap era and having lots of scantily clad women hanging around, the rapper also gained famed for always being a pot-head. I guess maybe that's Namco Bandai's target audience this time around? Who knows.
You can check out the new "Knocc E'm Down" music video for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 below.
If the music video didn't do much to inform you about what the game features, I'll take a few sentences to do just that: The game sports more than 50 different fighters that span the entire Tekken series. Gamers will be able to play as fan-favorites, long-time classics and old-school rivals, along with engaging in new features such as tag-mode, scramble mode and pair-play.
In addition to this the game still retains full customization. You don't have to worry about color options for characters being disc-locked, unlike some other games on the market.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is scheduled to launch in late September for the Xbox 360 and PS3. You can pre-order the game now if you really, really want to unlock the Snoop Dogg stage that will be included with the game. For more info feel free to visit the Official Website.
