This weekend Namco Bandai gave gamers a look at the battle system for PS3 RPG Tales of Xillia 2. The footage is about as seizure-inducing as you'd expect from a JRPG.

The combat for Xillia 2 is dubbed the Cross Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System. Like the "Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System" from the previous game, it allows characters to synchronize attacks with devastating results. Additionally, characters will be able to swap weapons in the heat of combat.

The best part of the trailer is two minutes in. It's essentially the victory screen for combat. After the game tells you how much experience your party earned, the characters start posing for the camera. Those guys are so adorable immediately after killing things.

Tales of Xillia 2 will hit Japan this November. A Western release hasn't been confirmed yet but is expected. Namco still has to release the first game here, though.
