Next week Ubisoft will release the third DLC pack for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The "Khyber Strike" pack will provide new maps and a game mode among other things for the shooter's multiplayer.
The game's new mode is called Takeover. You score points for your team by eliminating enemies, but can multiple your point gains by capturing your enemy's objective point. You'll also need to prevent the opposing team from doing the same.
The three maps are a diverse mix of locations. In Switchback, players battle their way through a series of small city alleyways and dusty buildings. Palace is a museum-turned-battlefield with an expansive courtyard. Transit, meanwhile, takes places to a Moscow transit station where arriving trains pose a constant threat to players.
The DLC also includes new Achievements for players to pursue, and raises the level cap to 10. Ubisoft also threw in a new Guerrilla Mode map called "Village" to play with three friends online or one player via split-screen.
Khyber Strike will arrive on October 9th on the PS3 and Xbox 360. It's currently undated for the PC. You'll have to pay $10 for this new content.
