Curious what the new wave of next-generation headsets are going to be like? Well, ponder no more my over-thinking friends, Turtle Beach has already unveiled their line-up of high-end headsets that will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac. All the new headsets, featuring dynamic bass boost and surround sound will be made available in the second quarter of 2011.

Carmine Bonanno, President and CEO of Turtle Beach commented in the press release, saying…
“With the introduction of the programmable PX5, we’re poised to again revolutionize the gaming headset market.” … “By allowing gamers to customize their audio environment, the PX5 gives them an opportunity to take charge of their console gaming experience in ways that have never before been available.”

Yes, the new PX5 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 has programmable audio controls, which allows gamers to have maximum control over their in-game listening experience. Need to hear footsteps better? No problem. Prefer having the music boom a little louder than usual? Easy as cake. Need more ‘umph’ out of your reloading? Done and done.

In addition to the PX5, which was showcased at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Turtle Beach also has plans to release the XC1 XBOX LIVE Communicator Headset and the P11 PS3 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset both of which are also compatible with PCs and Macs, and all of which are aimed to debut during the second quarter of this year.

You can get detailed info on the headsets, as well as pricing info by heading on over to the Official Website.
