Subscribe To The Walking Dead Developer Teases A New Gruesome Project With Tweets Updates
Today, The Walking Dead Developer Telltale Games announced on Twitter that their new publishing company, Telltale Publishing, will be announcing a new project tomorrow that they’ve been working on with a secret partner developer. You can view the Tweet below.
Telltale Games released two more Tweets on the Telltale Publishing Twitter account with suspicious yet bloody images from the unannounced project.
Both images appear to show very uncomfortable scenes.
The first image is of some very threatening, sharpened pieces of wood, maybe part of a barricade or a fence? The second image shows someone standing in the background, obviously blurred out, with a bloody handprint on glass in the foreground. It looks like it’s on the window of a car. The man in the background appears to have a beard and no shirt.
Telltale Games recently showcased their Batman game at SXSW this year, which is sure to be a narrative-heavy and dark take on the DC superhero.
When it comes to Telltale Games, I know I can always expect one thing: a very solid and emotionally-moving story. Whether I’m moved by fear or sadness or discomfort, Telltale’s games are always making me feel something and it’s why I look forward to them so much.
This will be the first game to come out of their new publishing company and I think it’s really going to depend on the developer before we can take any guess as to what kind of game it’s going to be, whether first-person or third-person or survival horror or what. We’ll continue to bring you updates on the project. For more information, you can check out Telltale Games’ official website.
