CD Projekt Red didn't want to just port The Witcher 2 over to the Xbox 360 and call it a day. They wanted to make sure gamers experienced a top notch, high quality role-playing experience with brand new gameplay elements, characters and even cinematic sequences.

A new developer diary was released to detail how the team went back and added brand new cinematics to flesh the game out, including 12 brand new cinematic endings based on player decisions and choices made throughout the game. I get the feeling it won't just be various shades of different colors either.

It's interesting because CD Projekt Red is a much smaller game studio than many of the other studios out there making games for EA, Ubisoft and Activision, yet they take the idea of porting their game over to another platform very seriously. I'm very, very impressed with the amount of dedication they have for this Xbox 360 port, given that most studios who port games over to other systems do it with as little work or platform specific tweaks as possible. I'm not going to name names, but we all know who's who.

You can look for The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition to arrive on the Xbox 360 this Spring on April 17th, along with new and updated features for the PC version as well. For further information on the game feel free to pay a visit to the Official Witcher 2 Website.
