I avoided the first Alvin and the Chipmunks movie in theaters, but people kept telling me how surprisingly not awful it was and I was sort of a fan of the Munks as a kid, so eventually I gave in and watched it on HBO. They were wrong. It’s pretty awful, but even worse also weirdly hypnotic. For some reason I couldn't turn it off. Awful or not, we’re getting a sequel and now that sequel, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel has a teaser.
Actually it’s not so much a teaser as the Fox logo sung chipmunk style. Expect to see this before the movie, when it arrives this Christmas. Take a look:
