Subscribe To Comic Con: Orange Fish Kick Off Viral Marketing For Rango Updates

Remember that announcement piece that came out for Gore Verbinski's Rango early last month? While the film is about a chameleon dealing with an identity crisis, the first bit of promotional material featured a giant, orange toy fish floating across the desert. It made very little sense then and makes even less sense now. So what exactly was that?

Fortunately, Comic Con has delivered the answer. The fish's name is Mr. Timms and he is a super special fish who is here to spread joy and happiness. Featured in his own booth on the exhibit floor, smaller versions of the toy were handed out freely to all patrons. You can check out the viral site here, but be sure to scope out the photos below first.
