The new trailer gives us the best look yet at some impressive special effects and the stellar cast, which includes Logan Lerman, Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Rosario Dawson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan and more. The plot comes from Rick Riordan’s children’s novel about a kid who finds out he’s the son of Poseidon. Percy is quickly engulfed in the world of the gods and framed for having stolen Zeus’ lightning bolt. With the help of his demigod friend, Percy sets out to find the true lightning thief, save his mother and stop a civil war from erupting amongst the gods.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief will hit theaters February 12th, 2010.
