Dylan O'Brien And Britt Robertson Start A Relationship In New Trailer For The First Time

We've seen a number of movies about people trying to lose their virginity, from American Pie to The 40 Year Old Virgin, and now its time for Dylan O'Brien and Britt Robertson to try and control their teenage hormonal urges and keep it in their respective pants.

Following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah earlier this year, the new teen romantic comedy The First Time, written and directed by Jon Kasdan, has finally started its marketing campaign (and it's about time too because it will be arriving in theaters on October 19th). Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions is handling the distribution and they have given Yahoo! the first ever trailer for the movie, which you can watch below.

While our own Katey Rich missed the title when she was at Sundance earlier this year, there are some reviews online that give the film credit for being more than your standard teenage romantic fare. I will admit that I thought this trailer was interesting at the very least and the concept is strong enough that it could be really good with proper execution.

The first film directed by Kasdan since 2007's In the Land of Women, the new movie is set over the course of a weekend as two teens, Dave and Aubrey (O'Brien, Robertson) kick off a fledgling romance. Dave spends most of his time obsessing over a girl that he talk to and Aubrey is going out with an older guy that treats her with little respect. The two of them meet during a party and quickly find a spark between them that carries over the next few days. Victoria Justice, Christine Taylor, and James Frecheville round out the supporting cast.
