If watching the Super Bowl spot for Fast & Furious 6 this weekend left you hungry for more car flipping, "vehicular warfare" and whatever else the anticipated sequel has to offer, you'll be happy to know that an extended first look for the movie is set to arrive later this morning. A thirty-second preview of the first look video has arrived online and gives us a look at the reunion of two characters.
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) weren't exactly on the best terms or the same side of the law when Fast Five left off, but from what we saw in the Super Bowl spot, Luke needs Dom's help this time around. The 30-second preview - or about 25 seconds when you subtract the preview rating time - shows us what appears to be the start of Luke and Dom's first post-Fast Five conversation.
Doesn't look like Dom's morning routine is so bad, with a glimpse of him in bed with a blonde woman, followed by a beer on the deck. He doesn't seem particularly panicked by the arrival of Hobbs and he claims he wasn't hiding, but he might be planning to make a run for it any second and we'll see our first car chase. Or he'll stick around and hear him out.
Diesel and Johnson are joined by an all star cast from the franchise, which includes Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and Luke Evans. Directed by Justin Lin, the film is set to arrive in theaters May 24.
As the preview states, the full extended first look will arrive at 9:00 a.m. PST, so keep an eye out for that.
