First Trailer For The Bang Bang Club Starring Ryan Phillippe Launches Online

There are few professions more ethically and morally complicated than a war-time photographer. One the one hand you are surrounded by death, destruction and the wounded, but doing anything to help could compromise journalistic integrity. It was a line that the Bang-Bang Club, a collection of four photojournalists working in post-apartheid South Africa, walked every day. And now they've made a film about them.

Apple has released the first trailer for The Bang Bang Club, starring Ryan Phillippe, Malin Akerman and Taylor Kitsch. Directed by Steven Silver, and based on the lives of Greg Marinovich, Joao Silva, Kevin Carter and Ken Oosterbroek, the movie tells the story of the group's coverage of events in the African nation, and the toll that it took on them personally.
