Those fortunate enough to be in select cities will have already had the opportunity to see the music-focused comedy Pitch Perfect. For everyone else, the film gets its wide release this weekend. And in anticipation of that, we have a new featurette, which includes a number of musical moments from the movie, including one that mashes up two popular songs.

Directed by Jason Moore, Pitch Perfect stars Anna Kendrick as Beca, a college girl who finds herself recruited to join one of the school a cappella groups. If you've seen the trailer(s) for the movie, a lot of what's in the video below (via iTunes) is going to seem familiar, but there are a couple snippets of Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson talking about the movie, and we also get to see another one of the featured musical numbers.

I'm actually at the point where I'm trying to avoid over-exposing myself to any more footage from the movie until I can actually get to see it in the theaters. Obviously, I'm not having much luck with that. Watching the video above, once again, I found myself getting goosebumps, this time from the sound of Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" being mashed with Nelly's "Just a Dream." An odd combination, but it works!

In addition to Kendrick, Pitch Perfect stars Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine. The film is in theaters now in certain cities and will arrive in more theaters Friday, October 5. More information, photos and video for Pitch Perfect can be found in our Blend Film Database. And you can read Katey's review here.
