Disney is promoting their upcoming National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets pretty heavily. Movie trailers, rampant television spots, and even a special 2-disc edition of the first National Treasure movie have all been a part of the promotion. Now we’re getting an extended clip from the movie in glorious QuickTime.
The first National Treasure was a fun adventure story and every indication so far, including this clip, is that the sequel is going to be more of the same. While I don’t think there’s a need for a second picture, and especially one that takes the adventure out of America (wasn’t that the whole point?), I’m excited to see Ben Gates, Reilly, and the rest of the gang back for another adventure.
