Robert Rodriguez is one of those directors who likes to talk up projects that are way, way in the future or not happening at all, but Spy Kids 4 will not be those projects. Rodriguez announced at SXSW recently that he was planning to reboot the Spy Kids franchise, and now Coming Soon has unearthed an honest-to-God release date.

Dimension Films has set August 19, 2011 for the release of Spy Kids 4: All The Time in the World, which will include an entirely different cast from the first three films. No cast has been confirmed, but all the young aspiring Taylor Lautners in the country are probably all lining up as we speak.
