With Wolverine's Success Comes Magneto

Be very careful with the money you decide to spend on Wolverine. Not because the movie may not be good or I have anything against hunky Hugh Jackman, but because if the movie is a success, the producers will see it as carte blanche to make as many X-Men movies as humanly possible. Producer Lauren Shuler Donner admitted as much recently in an interview with Sci Fi Wire, saying that Wolverine's performance will definitely affect when they get around to making that "great script" Magneto.

"Magneto is a fantastic script, and hopefully we'll make it," she said, before admitting that Wolverine's performance "is partly to do with" what they're waiting for. But there's also another X-Men spinoff in the running, First Class, about the first class at Xavier's mutant school. Not sure why they're choosing that over a Professor X or Storm movie, but I'm sure they have their reasons.

Also, in case you cared: a Constantine 2 may be in the works! Donner responds cryptically, "Looks very good. Thinking about it. Looking for a writer." Now you can go back to your regular stance of not caring about this movie at all.
