Denzel Washington’s portrayal of a man on the edge of addiction who gets involved in a horrible plane crash has been the talk of the town over the last several months, bringing Robert Zemeckis’ Flight to the foreground as awards season rolls around. If you missed the flick in theaters, you’ll be able to catch Flight when it hits Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download on February 5, although with that cover art, you may not want to indulge in a hard copy.

In ten days, we’ll get to see whether or not Washington pulls in a Golden Globe win for his performance, but even if he doesn’t, he still has SAG and Critics Choice nominations in his back pocket. Besides the buzz over Washington’s performance, the film also features some great moments from John Goodman, Kelly Reilly, Don Cheadle, and Bruce Greenwood. The flick is stacked in the casting department, but let’s not forget about its epic plane crash sequence, either.

If you are a fan who intensely loved the flick or are just really into bonus features, you are going to want to purchase the Blu-ray, which will come with a slew of extras. DVD copies of the flick will be completely barren, with no extras on the disc. There is a cost difference, with Blu-ray copies running at $39.99 and DVD copies running for $29.99, but if you aren’t in to the special features, I see no reason to not roll with a rental or a digital copy of the flick. You can check out the full list of Blu-ray bonus features, below, and see if they suit your fancy.
