How do you turn The Hunger Games: Mockingjay into a romantic comedy? Jimmy Kimmel answers that question with the video ahead, which takes the trailer for the highly anticipated Hunger Games: Mockingjay and re-markets it as Cupid's Arrow....

It's amazing what the right tone, the right voice and a little Katherine Heigl can do for a movie trailer. The above video, which appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, shuffles footage from the recently released Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 trailer to market the movie a bit more as a fun love story -- something in the vein of a classic Nora Ephron romantic comedy -- than a story of adventure, rebellion and survival.

The video uses an overly-enthusiastic trailer voice to create a fairly altered version of Mockingay, which presents Gale as the down-to-earth guy and Peeta as a "big TV star," with Katniss caught in between, because: love triangle! That's typical rom-com fare right there. And then there's President Snow saying "It's the things we love most that destroy us"... can set us free. Toss in The Angels' "My Boyfriend's Back," add some hot pink lettering for the stars' names...

And don't forget to add Katherine Heigl to the cast. Because you know it's a romcom if she's in it...

And of course, give it a new title...

All of a sudden, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is starting to look like this fall's must-see romantic comedy!... Almost... I mean, there are a lot more guns...

And explosions...

...than you might see in a typical rom-com. But no ever said Katniss was your typical romantic comedy heroine, did they?

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 arrives in theaters November 21. Watch the actual trailer here.
