Subscribe To Watch The Fate Of The Furious' Vin Diesel Sing Karaoke With His Kids Updates
Move over Barry White. There is a new deep-voiced crooner in town, and he comes with two adorable backup singers. Vin Diesel took to social media this week to share a cute video of his children singing in the car with their famous dad. The 49-year-old action film actor has been deeply vocal---pun intended---about letting us know he loves to sing. But who knew his kids were in on the fun, too? Check out the video:
Talk about adorable. The kids in the backseat are Vin Diesel's nine-year-old daughter, Hania Sinclair, and his six-year-old son, Vincent Sinclair. The family sang along to Jennifer Hudson's rendition of "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight" by The Beatles, a track that appears in the film Sing. Vin Diesel shared the video with his more than 38 million followers on Instagram.
It is not the first time Vin Diesel has graced us with his gruff, imperfect singing voice. Earlier this year, he performed "El Ganador" with Nicky Jam at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami. There are popular videos of the muscleman movie star singing tunes like "Stay" by Rihanna, "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith, and "My Heart Is Open" by Maroon 5. Vin Diesel also paid tribute to late actor Paul Walker by singing a snippet of "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth at the 2015 MTV Music Awards. Plus, when Vin Diesel visited The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actor sang Bill Withers's "Lean on Me" with a chipmunk filter on the microphone to create the polar opposite of his trademark throaty voice.
Moreover, Kygo invited Vin Diesel to record a version of "It Ain't Me," the single Kygo produced with Selena Gomez. In one of Vin Diesel's Instagram videos, the star of The Fate of the Furious revealed with a proud face that his version of "It Ain't Me" was on the radio while he was traveling by car in Germany. Vin Diesel proceeded to ask the driver to turn up the volume so he could sing along with his husky voice on the radio.
Of course, cars and karaoke rooms are not the only places Vin Diesel delivers that signature voice; he voiced Baby Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. In fact, those cute crooning kids from the backseat of the car accompanied Vin Diesel to the premiere of the film. We bet they loved hearing dad's familiar deep voice up on the silver screen.
Whether or not Vin Diesel is the best singer in the world does not matter. The actor's confidence is evident, which makes his performance abilities excellent. Besides, with those two little vocalists in the backseat of the car, Vin Diesel has the makings of a variety show. He also has a two-year-old daughter, Pauline Sinclair. Perhaps he could add her and his longtime partner, Paloma Jiménez, to the group for a Partridge Family-style Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.
