It seems things are not going well for reality television personality Scott Disick. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians celebrity reportedly went to Las Vegas to work a gig and celebrate his birthday in advance of turning 34 this month. Before the excursion, Disick took to social media to broadcast where he would be going. Unfortunately, soon after he aired that information, intruders entered Disick's house in Hidden Hills, California, in an apparent attempt to burglarize the home.
The police received a call at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, when supposed trespassers set off a silent alarm at Scott Disick's house, so says ET. The police dispatched officers who discovered possible evidence of forced entry at a sliding back door. It is worth noting some reports indicate the incident might have been an inside job, as whoever entered the home seemed to know where hidden cameras were. Regardless, the event adds to the string of home invasions and burglaries targeting Hollywood celebrities, such as Alanis Morissette, Nicki Minaj, and Emmy Rossum. In fact, Disick was the target of a robbery around this time last year when trespassers entered his home and stole watches and thousands of dollars.
So, one might think Scott Disick would take home invasions seriously. However, reports indicate Scott Disick seemed unfazed by the latest incident when he returned from Las Vegas on Sunday. But perhaps he should take stock of his home security. After all, the whole Kardashian-Jenner crew seems to have a target on its back. For example, Kendall Jenner lost valuables when someone broke into her house this year. Plus, Kim Kardashian was the target of an assault and robbery at gunpoint in Paris last year when criminals reportedly followed her social media location updates to figure out when to strike--which may be what happened in the purported break-in at Disick's place.
Furthermore, Hidden Hills should perhaps invest in better security. There have been other incidents there in recent times. Earlier this year, Disick's neighbor, rapper Drake, was the target of an unusual break-in. Moreover, Disick's fellow Keeping Up with the Kardashians member, Kylie Jenner, was the target of a stalker at her Hidden Hills home before the person recently confessed to murdering someone.
News of the supposed theft arrives on the heels of reports Scott Disick's party-hearty lifestyle is catching up with him. Earlier this month, rumors swirled Disick could have a problem with alcohol. Previously, there were speculations Kris Jenner, the grandmother of Disick's three children with Kourtney Kardashian, was developing a home-flipping reality television show with Disick in mind as the host. Nevertheless, that project may be fading, too.
So, it looks like Scott Disick has a lot of turmoil swirling around at the moment. Some of it sounds avoidable. It would be nice to hear some positive news about the reality star soon.
