Carly Rae Jepsen Denies She Has A Sex Tape

A sex tape supposedly of “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen hit the Internet earlier this week, but the singer has already denied she’s the woman getting busy in the footage. The clip features a young lady with similar bangs rocking out to Katy Perry’s “E.T.” and engaging in some sexual escapades.

Screen shots found their way online via Perez Hilton, but Jepsen took to her Twitter to call BS on her being involved with the hanky panky. Here’s a look at what she had to say…

”Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me.”

The chick in the video definitely would win a Carly Rae Jepsen lookalike contest, but based on the pop star’s reaction, I think it’s unlikely she’s actually the one getting frisky. If she were, her lawyers would have probably sent a cease and desist letter, or she would have denied the story by some other means than a flippant statement on Twitter. Plus, she doesn’t exactly strike many as the sex tape type.

More than likely, this story will slowly trickle away over the next few days. The Internet is filled with plenty of lookalike sex tapes, and once they’re proven to be hoaxes, people typically don’t care anymore. If the rumors linger, however, expect a more formal denial. We’ll keep you updated.
