Foxy Brown: I Never Called Jay-Z A Tranny Chaser

Almost twenty years ago, Jay-Z enlisted Foxy Brown, who was then in high school, to spit a few verses on one of his singles. After she secured her own record contract at the age of seventeen, he returned the favor and appeared on her debut LP. Since then, the two have reportedly remained pretty close, which is why there was so much shock when an article appeared in MTO accusing Brown of calling Jay-Z a “tranny chaser”.

The article, which seems to have been taken down, was reportedly filled with information Brown spilled while she was at a baby shower. During the festivities, she reportedly made the “tranny chaser” comment, accused the happily married, doting father of taking her virginity when she was only fifteen, giving his own wife an STD and regularly trolling for men to sleep with. According to TMZ, if Foxy herself is to be believed, the story is a complete patch of lies.

Sounding off with a whole lot of anger, Brown told the outlet Jay-Z has been great to her, and she’s planning to have her lawyer start making threats. Here’s a portion of her longer comment…

"In all my years in the music industry, these are the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations I've ever experienced. This fictitious story ... with NO audio, visual or written interview, clearly was concocted with malicious intent."

Based on everything we seem to know about Jay-Z, many of the allegations seem extremely unlikely. After all, there’s no reason for any of us to think at this point that he’s anything other than a responsible and invested family man. Even if he isn’t, however, roaming the streets for transsexual lovers seems like a big step in the other direction.

We’ll keep you updated if this matter ends up in court.
