Glee’s Lea Michele has landed a big spokesperson deal. The bubbly TV star’s character has recently moved to college, helping her fans to see the 26-year-old actress as the bright, beautiful woman she is. Today, the actress was named the new face of L’Oréal Paris, and both the company and the actress feel the collaboration will be the perfect fit.

Michele recently spoke to People to discuss how some platforms that are important to herself, as well as the whole cast and crew of Glee, are also important to the beauty product company.
“I’m so thankful to be a part of a television show that promotes inner beauty and self-worth. Now to be a part of this amazing family that expresses the same amazing message is such an honor.”

She also made sure to mention she uses all of the company’s products, and yada, yada, yada, but at least that last part of the message seems to be coming from the right place. I wish just once, however, that people would be honest and just admit they are doing a promotional deal for the money and the free product. As much as I dream about that hilarious moment, I should probably not be rooting for a gal to throw good money down the drain.

This deal has likely been in the works for a while, but if it had not been, I would say the recent photos of a sultry, very much grown-up Michele from the “Britney 2.0” episode of Glee might have done a lot to be convincing. In the photos, Michele dances around on the top of the table as she tries to convince guest star Kate Hudson she has the chops to make it in the big leagues. Apparently, L’Oréal Paris didn’t need that kind of convincing.
