Should Clint Eastwood Keep Ranting Or Just Shut His Mouth?

Clint Eastwood has been making the rounds to promote Trouble With The Curve this week, and with each appearance, his much discussed chair speech has continually come up. Not surprisingly, he hasn’t been bothered by the backlash. In fact, he would probably do the same thing over again.

At least that’s what he told Extra during the most recent of those chats. Here’s part of the exact quote, thanks to The New York Daily News

”If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're gonna have to take what they get."

Some of Clint’s fans might not have been thrilled with the content of his speech, but at the end of the day, that brazen, never-look-back mentality is why the actor is so beloved. They don’t make ‘em like Eastwood anymore. Case and point: he not only doesn’t watch reality television, he doesn’t watch his own family’s reality television show. Check out his barely muffled disdain during his interview on Ellen below…

There are some people out there who think Eastwood should fade off into the sunset. There are others who think he should continue behaving exactly how he’s always behaved. What do you think? Do you want Clint to keep ranting or would you rather he just shut his mouth? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
