Watch An Angry Father Shoot Holes In His Disrespectful Daughter's Laptop

Tommy Jordan thought he was doing his daughter Hannah a favor when he bought new software for her laptop earlier this week. Being an IT specialist, he even spent a few hours installing it for her, but all that goodwill was lost a short time later when he discovered a scathing Facebook message on his daughter’s page, typed using the same computer he’d just tweaked.

Full of profanity and a whole lot of anger, Hannah’s post bashed her parents for making her do household chores when the family already had a cleaning lady and complained of their attempts to make her get a job. Enraged, Tommy grabbed a cigarette, his daughter’s laptop, a camera and a gun. The end result was posted to the girl’s Facebook page so all her friends could see how far being disrespectful gets you. Take a look at the video below…

When Facebook first achieved widespread popularity with college students seven or eight years ago, there was a strange period of adjustment in which people slowly realized the social media service could have real repercussions. Friendships ended over stupid comments and people lost out on potential jobs over compromising photographs. Eventually, most of the first wave of users learned to be responsible, but the new influx of all age participants the past few years don’t seem to have learned their lessons yet. Something tells me this poor girl has gotten the message though.

Since this video first went viral, it’s aroused a storm of both complaints and praises. Some think Tommy’s attempt at discipline went too far and showed far too much emotion. Others think it’s about time a snobby girl got exactly what she deserved. I think it’s a little of both, and I can’t wait to watch it again.
