While many of us are still shooting eye-daggers at NBC for putting an end to Hannibal after three seasons, one of the show’s executive producers is laying the blame in a very specific place.

Though it's one of his best roles, Sir Anthony Hopkins just admitted that he regrets reprising his Oscar-winning role of Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs in The Red Dragon and Hannibal.

While Hannibal fans may never again get to see new episodes, the universe has thankfully provided us one more peek into that world through an unsettling PETA commercial starring Gillian Anderson.

Bryan Fuller's brilliant Hannibal series might have come to an end on television this past weekend, but it's possible that we have not yet seen the end of the show's impressive continuity.
