Minecraft has been greeted warmly by Xbox 360 owners. Microsoft revealed this afternoon that the game has broken "all previous Xbox LIVE Arcade digital sales records" in its first week.

The Creative Assembly might collaborate with Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson on the next Total War game. They say that the Swedish designer could make an appearance in the game.

The legal dispute between MineCraft creators Mojang and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim studio Bethesda ended today. Mojang confirmed that the name of their upcoming game Scrolls won't have to be changed.

Mojang officially released Patch 1.2 for the PC and Mac versions of their open-world building game MineCraft today. The Patch introduces a new jungle environment to the game as well as iron golems.

If you want to play Minecraft on the go, PlayStation Vita won't be your answer. Mojang confirmed today that they have no plans to release the indie building game for the upcoming handheld.
