One of the most popular games in the world will be arriving on Xbox One soon. Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer says that the XB1 version of Minecraft is almost finished.

4J Studios is rolling out the next major patch for the console versions of Minecraft. Title Update 14, or Patch 1.04, has debuted on Xbox 360 and will be available on PS3 soon.

Minecraft players can now start testing out patch 1.8 for the open-world building game. The first "snapshot" for the update can be downloaded through Mojang's website.

Minecraft players are always coming up with new ways to amaze us. The latest example comes from ItsJustJumby, who built a functioning 3D printer within the game.

Minecraft will finally make its PlayStation debut this week. Minecraft PS3 Edition will be available for download through PSN on December 17th in North America and on December 18th in Europe.

The sales for open-ended building game Minecraft continue to climb. Today both the Xbox 360 version and the original PC/Mac edition both hit impressive new milestones.

Minecraft's next major update is almost ready. Developer Mojang says that they could release patch 1.7 on PC and Mac as early as Friday.
