A month ago we learned that American Horror Story was looking to fill a female role for its second season, which was compared to Angelina Jolie’s character in the 1999 film Girl, Interrupted. It looks like the FX drama series has found a winner, and she comes in the form of French beauty Lizzie Brochere.

TVLine posted the casting news today, stating that French actress Lizzie Brochere, whose credits apparently consist of “decidedly NC-17-rated film work,” has been cast in the second season of FX’s horror-drama American Horror Story. This comes after a long search to fill the role, which is described as “fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot.” Sounds like a fun role to tackle, and one fitting to a drama like this, where “sexual” and “dangerous” have twisted together before.

The second season of AHS is said to take place at a mental (or rather, “horror”) institution on the East Coast somewhere. While Season 2 will feature numerous cast members from the first season (including Zachary Quinto, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, and Sarah Paulson), they’ll all be playing different roles. Also set to appear in the second season is Adam Levine of NBC’s The Voice (and the band Maroon 5).
