American Horror Story Just Unveiled A Foot So Deformed It'll Ruin Your Day

If you’re a lady getting ready to go out for a night on the town, there’s a good chance you’ll be putting on some stockings and high heel shoes. Of course, if you’re involved with the traveling exhibit at the heart of American Horror Story: Freak Show, then you probably don’t need to worry about uncomfortable footwear. You might just have the oddball deformation seen above in the series’ new poster.

As a flat-footed person who tends to walk on his toes, I’m actually more interested than bothered by the protruding heel seen above (via TVLine). It might just make my life that much easier, although buying shoes would be a problem. And then if it ever broke…(throws up in mouth). Yeah, as it happens, I’m perfectly all right with having normal feet and legs without crisscross patterns on them.

Of course, there’s no telling whether or not this person will actually be in the cast, as was the case with the three-legged woman. But there’s a new cast member that just might have a dress to match those skin-toned heels.

The Nine Lives of Chloe King star Skyler Samuels has joined the ensemble cast in what THR reports is a “pivotal” role. She’ll play a Jupiter, Florida local who gets into a difficult situation. If I may read that description as punny, the word pivotal could be referring to the fleshy heel, which could act as a pivot. Look at me, I’m like a detective over here.

Samuels will also be recognizable to TV fans from her role as Andie Bates on The Gates and a recurring role on Wizards of Waverly Place. She’ll be seen later this year in Mark Brown’s comedy Sharon 1.2.3. and Salomé Breziner’s comedy Helicopter Mom. Let’s hope she gets a better character than Emma Roberts’ awful Madison Montgomery from last season.

American Horror Story: Freak Show will take place in 1952, as German expat Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) takes her gang of oddities to Jupiter, Florida to set up shop, which coincides with a terrifying presence taking over the town. Plus, they’re not too popular with the locals. The “good guys” include Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Michael Chiklis and Sarah Paulson, while Roberts, Denis O’Hare, and Wes Bentley are the more sinister characters. John Carroll Lynch, as the murderous clown Twisty, is the most horrifying foe of all. Other cast members include Patti LaBelle, Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock and Jyoti Amge, the smallest woman in the world.

Audience can have one “heel” of a time once American Horror Story: Freak Show settles down on FX starting Wednesday, October 8.
