Subscribe To Arrow's 'Suicide Squad' Gets New Photos And A Detailed Episode Description Updates
While there's still one more new episode and then a week off between now and the "Suicide Squad" episode of Arrow, we now have some new photos from the episode that'll air later this month, as well as a description that gives us some idea of the plot. But as I mentioned, this is the episode after next, so if you're not up for looking ahead, read no further!

Truth be told, the episode description for "Suicide Squad" doesn't appear to spoil anything major about Wednesday night's "The Promise", aside from the assumption that the titular "Promise" relates to Slade's determination to destroy Oliver's family. The description for the March 19 episode indicates that Oliver's preparing for that battle, while Diggle finds himself recruited by Amanda Waller, though he's understandably reluctant to follow along with Waller's plans when he sees who she's asking him to work with.

Diggle and Waller
ARROW - "Suicide Squad"
— Following Slade’s (Manu Bennett) return and his promise to make good on his threat to destroy Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) loved ones, Oliver focuses all his energy on preparing for battle with his former friend. Sarah (Caity Lotz) tries to help but, fearing for her safety, Oliver pushes her away. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) is recruited by Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) and A.R.G.U.S. to stop a warlord (guest star Lee Majdoub) he knew from his time in Afghanistan.

Always the solider, Diggle agrees to help. However, he’s not prepared when Amanda introduces him to the rest of the team – Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe), Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White) and Shrapnel (guest star Sean Maher), all criminals he and Arrow helped put away. Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) defends the team and explains the world is a complicated place, but Diggle isn’t sure he agrees. When the mission takes a dangerous turn, Diggle is forced to make a difficult decision. Larry Teng directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Bryan Q. Miller (#216).

Among the Suicide Squad photos, we have this one, which shows us Michael Rowe as Floyd Lawton ("Deadshot").

And Michael Jae White as Ben Turner (Bronze Tiger).

The caption doesn't say whose back is to us, but Oliver looks ready to shoot him.

And you can see some more glimpses from "Suicide Squad" in the gallery below, including what looks like a dramatic moment for Oliver and Sara. No sign of Felicity or Sean Maher's character Mark Scheffer (Shrapnel), but you can see him in the previously released promotional photos. Arrow's "Suicide Squad" episode airs Wednesday, March 19 (8:00-9:00pm ET) on CW.
