Just last night I was commenting on how Season 2 of Being Human was shaping up to be a great one. One particular twist threw me for a loop and over all, the episode came together really nicely. The clip I have to share with you from next Monday’s episode has a line from Josh that, as a 24 fan, had me laughing out loud.
On the subject of last night’s twist (stop reading if you’re not caught up on Season 2 of Being Human through episode 3 - “All out of Blood”!), how awkward was that morning after between Josh, his former fiancé Julia, Nora and Aidan? Poor everyone, including Nora! Josh dumped Julia because he didn’t want to hurt her, then started seeing Nora, whom he did end up hurting and turning into a werewolf, and now he’s faced with the woman he loved too much to hurt alongside the woman he now loves but didn’t leave and did hurt. Meanwhile, Aidan had no idea that the woman he’d been going at it with was, in fact, his closest friend’s former fiancé. Talk about a drama. Then, throw in Aidan’s choice to cut Julia loose and make light of their brief but hot relationship in an effort to protect her. Julia was dumped twice for her own safety. Little does she know, it’s probably for the best.
Moving on to next Monday’s episode, the clip below is from “(I Loathe You) For Sentimental Reasons” and has Josh, Aidan and Sally talking about Josh’s wolf-issues and some incident he got himself involved in after being spotted by a fellow werewolf.
“It’s like Jack Bauer dating Chloe. You kind of want to see it but... not really.”
I love the dialogue in this show.
Being Human airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Syfy.
