Daley Joins Bones Cast And Betty Adds One More

As the FOX series, Bones prepares to embark upon it’s third season, the show will be adding a fresh face to the screen, as John Francis Daley has been cast to play a therapist in the series. Also, we reported earlier that Victoria Beckham might be making a guest appearance on Ugly Betty. It looks as though Posh wont be the only good looking face to grace the ABC series.

According to Reuters The Hollywood Reporter stated that David Blue is about to be signed on for a recurring role on Ugly Betty. He’ll be playing Cliff, a photographer at Mode who could turn out to be a love interest for Marc, Wilhelmina’s bitchy assistant. Blue’s lopsided grin has appeared in small roles in Dirt, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Veronica Mars and Scrubs.

As for John Francis Daley, he’s set for a recurring role as a therapist in Bones. Daley is no stranger to the small screen. He cracked up viewers with his adorable geekiness in the great (but sadly cancelled) Judd Apatow series, Freaks and Geeks. Daley went on to appear in Boston Public, The Geena Davis Show, Judging Amy and Kitchen Confidential. He also starred as the almost entirely silent character, Mitch in Waiting, though I doubt we can expect to see The Goat at any point in Bones. Since its been reported that he’ll be playing a therapist, I’m wondering if it’ll be an entirely serious role or if Daley will bring a bit of his typical shy humor to the part.

Bones will return to FOX with new episodes on September 25th.
