Subscribe To HBO Has Already Renewed Game Of Thrones For A Second Season Updates
Just two days after the series premiered to rave reviews and 4.2 million viewers, Game of Thrones has already been renewed for a second season by HBO. It's the premium cable network's first foray into fantasy, based on George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series; if you've been reading the site recently you'll know that we liked the show a lot, and think that you will too, even if you're not all that into fantasy. Clearly HBO agrees-- the network that usually relies on glitzy, violent dramas like Boardwalk Empire or zeitgeisty comedies like Entourage is making a pretty significant commitment to fantasy very early in the series run.

Now the speculation begins about where they might take the story in the second season, and whether it will simply be an adaptation of Martin's second book int he series, Clash of Kings. George R.R. Martin fans, speak up with your guesses in the comments!
