"When you bring a Jon Hamm into a situation, things just happen." - as stated by Will Ferrell during his Daily Show interview alongside The Campaign co-star Zach Galifianakis. Given the seemingly random and very amusing direction of the interview, which involves an appearance by Mad Men's Hamm, the former SNL star probably couldn't have said it any better. Watch the video ahead!
If Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis' chemistry together on last night's episode of The Daily Show is any indication, we should be in for something really funny when The Campaign arrives in theaters. The two were set to be interviewed by Jon Stewart, but after a couple amusing prank-related anecdotes, the interview gets derailed and that's when Stewart is forced to serve up some Hamm. Here it is (via THR)…
I would shop at a Will Ferrell-owned Filene's Basement.
The interview never really goes anywhere, especially when considering the obvious potential for some conversation about politics, but it sure is funny. And Stewart managed to work a bit of self-deprecating humor into the mix when he joked about getting lazy and assuming that, because it's basic cable, he could get away with a lame interview.
It all ended well though, with lots of hand-shaking to go around, and I think we all learned something here. (That Galifianakis may be allergic to nuts).
