Last Man Standing Clip Shows Tim Allen's TV Reunion With Richard Karn

Those who have been waiting to see Home Improvement's Tim Allen and Richard Karn reunited on Last Man Standing will definitely want to tune into the ABC series this Friday night. It's happening! For a sample of Karn's guest appearance on Allen's current TV comedy, check out the video head. We also have a few details about the episode to share with you.

Spoilers ahead!

Fans of the hugely rated 90s sitcom Home Improvement will recognize Karn for playing Tim's Tool Time sidekick Al in the series. Karn and Allen aren't playing the hosts of a home improvement TV show this time around, but don't think Home Improvement isn't acknowledged as Tim Allen's Mike and Karn's Bill McKenzie reunite in the clip below. The two characters are old friends or colleagues, but it seems Bill's got his shows mixed up…

"Say hi to the wife and the three boys!" Bill says. To which Mike responds, "It's three girls." That confuses McKenzie, who says, "Really? God, I seem to remember it was three boys…"

It was three boys… when it was Home Improvement. But of course, Allen's current character is surrounded by females at home. I'm sure fans of Home Improvement will forgive the mix-up in appreciation for the nod to the show.

Here's the episode description for "Attractive Architect," which hints that things might not be going Mike's way.

LAST MAN STANDING - "Attractive Architect" - Tim Allen reunites with Richard Karn, his former sidekick from "Home Improvement." Bill McKenzie (Karn) has been the Outdoor Man's architect for years, which is why he is dumfounded when Mike tells him the job may now go to a young, gorgeous female architect. Back home, Vanessa wonders if looks trumped talent in her recent job promotion, on Last Man Standing, FRIDAY, JANUARY 11 (8:00-8:31 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
