Lost On Tuesdays Starting February 2nd

The final season of Lost finally has a launch date, and a new night. ABC announced that they are giving their entire Tuesday night lineup on February 2nd for the premiere of the sixth and final season of the sci-fi phenomenon. Events begin at 8 PM ET with a one-hour retrospective of the series so far, leading directly into the two-hour season premiere. The following week, Lost settles into its new timeslot of Tuesdays at 9 PM ET

As has been reported everywhere by now, it looks like virtually everyone who's ever been on the series in its first five seasons is scheduled to appear in this final run. Lost went from a show about survivors of a plane crash on a tropic island, and became the story of three disparate groups of people who've lived on the island. Some have gotten off the island, with some coming back, some have even traveled through time, and too many have died along the way.

But, perhaps all that has changed. Perhaps not. Julia hit a massive "reset" button at the close of Season Five, so did she manage to change the course of time? Did she undo the crash that set all of this in motion? If so, what happens next? If not, what did she do and how do all these actors come back?

Lost has been mostly riveting throughout its run, but really came together when the network and showrunners agreed to give it a specific end-date of 2010. Now that time has come, and there's only eighteen episodes left to bring it all together.
