NBC Renews Love In The Wild, Auditions For Season 2 Have Begun

Despite not performing extremely well in its first season, NBC has decided to stick with Love in the Wild. The network announced today that they’ve decided to order a second season for the reality show, which features single people as they’re paired up and set to compete against one another.

?NBC’s announcement states that the series was averaging 5.5 million viewers overall for the series, which isn’t anything all that spectacular. Regardless of the ratings, the network made note of the fact that the series was successful in love. Last year’s winners (Samantha Woods and Mike Spiro), and the runner-up couple, are apparently still dating, so at the very least, the show does produce results, if not a whole lot of viewers. Maybe Season 2 will do better.

Love in the Wild is a competition series where single people are coupled up and set to participate in challenges. Afterward, the couples decide if they want to stay together or split up and find another partner. Each week two single people are sent home. Last season’s winners took a trip around the world, visiting France, Italy, Croatia, and Australia.
