Spartacus War Of The Damned Trailer: The Final Chapter Of An Epic Journey

One of the many great treats offered up to us at the Spartacus: War of the Damned Comic Con panel today was a trailer for the new season. Judging by this video, it's looking like War of the Damned is going to take the battle scenes to the next level. Check it out ahead!

"We are at war," Spartacus says. "Underestimating your opponent is a Roman trait. We will not fall prey to it.

The trailer shows us some of the battles and get a look at some of the new cast members, as well as those returning cast members who managed to survive last season (including Crixus, Agron and Ganicus).

"From the flames of war, a legend is forged. The final chapter of an epic journey."

We may be seeing the fiercest Spartacus yet! His response to being asked to give terms for surrender was evidence of that. The trailer also had lots of slashing. Someone gets a spear in the throat. I thought I saw a glimpse of Saxa fighting. And there were a few steamy moments. Exciting stuff! This should be enough to tide us over for a little while as we wait for January to approach.
