New Trailer For MTV's Bromance
Tonight MTV premiered the trailer for the new reality series, Bromance. In case you missed the official unveiling of the video, which aired during the remixed version of Britney Spears’ special, we have it posted here for you to enjoy. Be sure to watch it all the way through. The footage of the guys crying is quite moving.
I don’t generally get into dating-reality shows like The Bachelor but for some reason, shows that feature a group of people competing for another person’s friendship is surprisingly entertaining. At least that was the case with Paris Hilton’s My New BFF and based on the Bromance trailer, it looks like the drama (and the tears) will be flowing just as heavily on this new MTV series.
Bromance is exec-produced by none other than Ryan Seacrest and stars The Hills star Brody Jenner. In this “bromantic comedy,” a group of guys will compete against one another to win Jenner’s friendship and a spot in his super-exclusive band of bros. They’re undergo numerous physical and emotional challenges, trying to avoid elimination. According to MTV’s press release: ” Throughout the series, the pool of “bros” gets smaller as contestants get eliminated in the “Hot Tub elimination ceremony,” where rejected “bros” will be asked to leave the bachelor pad, dripping wet, wearing a swim suit with luggage in hand. In the end, the winner will take home an incredible prize package, move out to Hollywood and secure a spot as the newest member of Jenner’s entourage.”
As of now, MTV has only committed to six episodes, the first of which will premiere on Monday, December 29th at 9:00 PM ET.
